This high-quality 2-in-1 strengthening and hydrophobic primer is designed for very weak and brittle substrates. This product evens out surface absorbency both indoors and outdoors. It protects against moisture, limits the growth of mold and fungi, and reduces the substrate's water absorption. It also improves the adhesion of adhesives and plasters, and reduces paint consumption. After drying, it creates a uniform, hydrophobic surface ready for further treatment.
Features:
Moisture Protection: Protects the substrate from moisture, reducing the growth of mold and fungi, making it ideal for use in areas exposed to moisture, both indoors and outdoors.
Improves Adhesion: Improves the adhesion of adhesives, plasters, and paints, ensuring the durability and strength of the application. This reduces the use of finishing materials, translating into savings.
Versatile use: Suitable for all porous and absorbent substrates, such as drywall, gypsum plaster, cement board, concrete, wood, ceramics, and floors. Perfect for use in a variety of rooms and conditions.
Technical data:
Coverage:
0.1 to 0.4 l/m², depending on application method, substrate type, and layer thickness.
Packaging:
Available in 1 L containers.
Drying time:
Typically 24 hours, depending on environmental conditions and substrate type.
Application temperature:
Recommended application temperature is 5°C to 30°C.
Substrate:
Suitable for drywall, gypsum plaster, cement board, concrete, limestone and anhydrite substrates, wooden and ceramic surfaces, and floors.
Substrate preparation and application instructions:
The substrate should be dry, degreased, and free from contamination. Dust, paint residue, and other contaminants should be removed, and any irregularities should be filled with putty. Prime new, fresh substrates after they have completely dried.
